Amreeka is the sotry of Palestinian Muna (Nisreen Faour) looking to trade in the Israeli wall for an Illinois white-picket fence, with her teenage son, Fadi (Melkar Muallem). Writer/director Cherien Dabis’ debut feature Amreeka illuminates the modern immigrant experience to heartwarming, pointed effect.

Rupert Bunny – Artist in Paris
